Selecting and routing

  • Click a star to pin its card beside it. The card shows OWNER, CLASS, LANES, CORE and STATUS, with buttons for FOCUS, MISSION, and OPEN SYSTEM / OPEN COLONY on charted or claimed systems. Stars still under fog cannot be selected.
  • MISSION opens Mission Control. While it is open the map draws the hyperlane route from your origin colony to the target as an animated dashed line. The route is solved for you — there is no multi-select and no chaining of stops.
  • Launch from inside Mission Control. A fleet already under way is stopped with RECALL in the fleets panel.
  • Escape clears the selection, which closes both the system card and Mission Control.

Camera tips

  • The camera is a 2D world camera; zoom is logarithmic so you can frame both a single system and the entire galaxy.
  • A spatial grid + LOD module keeps the framerate high even when zoomed all the way out.
  • Press 0 or F to fit the whole galaxy and H to fly home; use FOCUS on a system card to frame that one system.
  • Overlays — nebula gas, sector grid, empire borders, hyperlanes and labels — are toggled from the LAYERS button in the top bar, not by hotkey.
  • Hotkeys are ignored while you are typing in a text field. There is no right-click menu and no search box on the map.
